WHO PACKAGING DESIGN IS RIGHT FOR

Packaging design is ideal if your product is strong — but the packaging isn’t yet reflecting its quality, positioning, or potential.

This service is a good fit if you are:

  • Launching a new food or beverage product

  • Preparing to enter retail, markets, or specialty stores

  • Competing on shelf with established brands

  • Repositioning or elevating your existing packaging

  • Looking for packaging that feels credible and shelf-ready

If your product tastes great but doesn’t yet look the part, packaging design is where we focus.

BEYOND AESTHETICS

Packaging design is about clarity, compliance, and shelf impact — not just aesthetics.

A beautiful package may capture attention, but design alone is not enough.

Your packaging needs to help customers quickly understand what the product is, why it matters, and what makes it worth choosing. It also has to support your brand, accommodate required information, and work within real production specifications.

That requires thoughtful hierarchy, strategic differentiation, production awareness, and a visual system that can grow across products, flavors, sizes, and formats.

My role is to guide those decisions from concept through production-ready artwork — balancing creative expression with the practical details that help your packaging perform on shelf, online, and in hand.

The goal is not just packaging that looks good. It’s packaging that communicates clearly, supports your growth, and is ready for the real world.

Choose the level of strategy, creative guidance, and production support that fits your packaging needs.

PACKAGING DESIGN PACKAGES

Every packaging project is custom, but most fall into one of three levels of support. Whether you’re launching a single product or developing a coordinated multi-SKU system, each level is designed to create packaging that feels distinctive, cohesive, and production-ready.

  • Packaging Essentials

    Typical investment: $6,500–$8,500

Best for established brands launching one primary product or refreshing an existing package with a clear brand direction and finalized content.

    • Packaging strategy consultation

    • Competitive and shelf review

    • One package format and one SKU

    • Creative concept development

    • Packaging hierarchy and layout

    • Production-ready artwork

    • Digital presentation mockups

    • Two refinement rounds

    • Final printer or vendor handoff

  • Retail-Ready Packaging System

    Typical investment: $10,000–$15,000

Best for growing food, beverage, wellness, and specialty-product brands that need a cohesive packaging system designed to stand out, scale, and perform at retail.

    • Everything in Packaging Essentials, plus:

    • Discovery and positioning alignment

    • Packaging architecture and hierarchy

    • Two to four coordinated SKUs

    • Flavor, product, or color system

    • Mockups and package views

    • Production file organization

    • Proof review and vendor coordination

    • Packaging usage guide

    • Hands-on production guidance

  • Premium Packaging Experience

    Typical investment: $16,000+

Best for premium brands launching a larger product family, multiple package formats, specialty finishes, gift packaging, or a more complex retail experience.

    • Everything in Retail-Ready Packaging System, plus:

    • Multi-SKU packaging systems

    • Specialty material and print-finish

    • Foil, embossing, varnish, die-cut, or structural considerations

    • Custom pattern or illustration

    • Prototype and proof review

    • Printer and vendor coordination

    • Retail presentation guidance

    • Select launch-ready brand assets

    • Production and rollout support

Packaging scope and pricing vary based on the number of SKUs, package formats, dielines, specialty finishes, illustration, and production requirements. Printing, photography, copywriting, prototypes, structural engineering, and regulatory review are quoted separately as needed.

My Packaging Design Process

Guidance where details matter.

Packaging design carries a unique set of challenges — technical requirements, production constraints, and high visibility at the point of sale. Small decisions can have outsized impact.

My role is to help you navigate those details with confidence. I guide you through layout, hierarchy, and design choices that support both your brand and your product — while ensuring the final packaging feels clear, compliant, and ready for production.

Rather than guessing or overcomplicating the process, we focus on making smart, well-considered decisions that support clarity, shelf impact, and scalable growth.
